Acts chapter 12 is an interesting chapter in the Bible. Peter is thrown into prison by King Herod and sentenced to death, but an angel comes, rescues him from the prison and sets him free. Peter's life was spared. In the last part of chapter 12 King Herod lifts himself up in pride and does not give God the glory. The Bible says immediately an angel of the Lord struck him and Herod was eaten by worms and died. Angels are servants of God who watch over the believer day and night.
Today we looked at Psalms 91 and Psalms 103:20, Bless the Lord, you His angels, Who excel in strength, who do His word, Heeding the voice of His word. Angels are here to protect us and when we speak forth the Word of God, angels work on our behalf! How exciting that God has provided angels for us! Pray the Word of God over others and your family so those angels have something to do!
Angels are real! They are God's servants for Believers. Hebrews 1:14, Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation? We are not to worship them. They watch over us, protecting us from harm. We learned how angels gave strength to Jesus (Luke 22:43). They will give strength to us too! @sosministries-777
In our everyday life we need to find something to be thankful for. I heard a man say, "Don't forget to take your vitamin G". Vitamin G is for gratefulness. I Thessalonians 5:18 tells us to give thanks in all circumstances: for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. We can choose to give thanks everyday and find something to be grateful for! @sosministries-777
I encourage everyone to daily read Psalm 91 over yourself and your family. We are living in the end times and God's word promises us divine protection. Psalms 91 is full of different ways Father God protects us. He is our refuge, fortress, deliverer, He protects us during the night and during the day, and He gives His angels charge over us!! I encourage to read Psalms 91 everyday and find out all the different ways He protects! www.sosministries.life
The leech can never suck enough blood from its victim (Proverbs 30:15). When is enough, enough? Our peace, joy, love and happiness cannot come from things, people or places. True peace, joy, love and happiness comes from knowing Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior! The void inside of you can only be filled with God the Father, Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit!
Proverbs 27:20, Hell and destruction are never full; so the eyes of man are never satisfied. In this fast paced world it seems that we are never satisfied. We are always wanting more or get it faster. Jesus truly is the only one that can satisfy the longing in our hearts. He is the only true peace! Don't let the enemy, the devil, trap you in this world's system. Break free and be free in Jesus Christ, the only true one that satisfies! www.sosministries.life
We have different seasons in our life. Some of them good and some not so good. When we trust God and put our lives into His capable hands we can get through ever season of our life. We can grow, learn and gain wisdom and strength. God declares the end from the beginning (Isaiah 46:10). He is the beginning and the end (Revelation 1:8). Confidently know God is on your side and always willing to see you through any situation! www.sosministries.life
There are two ways of living. Living righteous or living wicked. Psalms 1 tells us what the righteous should avoid, pursue and what we should become. Psalms 1 also tells us the way of the wicked and what their path is like. Here's one question you can ask yourself. Am I rooted in truth or drifting with culture? Choose Jesus and His path. You will not regret it! www.sosministries.life
We continue with the last 5 steps to help with worry and anxiety. The main scripture is Philippians 4:6-8. The first 5 are listed 3 weeks ago. 6. Put on the whole of armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) 7. Have Faith in God (Mark 11:22-24) 8. Live and walk in the Spirit (Galatians 5:16-26) 9. Do not cast away confidence (Hebrews 10:23) 10. Cast all your care upon God (I Peter 5:6-8)
Psalm 46:1, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in time of trouble. God is our refuge. He protects us from danger when we put our trust in Him. The test, trials, and storms come but God has made us more than conquerors through Him (Romans 8:35-37). Keep trusting in God to see you through. He is walking with you always!
The Word of God tells us not to be anxious or worry in Philippians 4:6-7. 1. Permit the Word of God to keep your heart and mind through Jesus 2. Renounce all worry by prayer, supplication and thanksgiving 3. Think on right things. Philippians 4:8 4. Keep your mind on God. Isaiah 26:3 5. Use the weapons of spiritual warfare. 2 Corinthians 10:4-6 On Oct. 5 we will go over the other 5 ways to cure worry. Good song by Jeremy Riddle for anxiety. https://youtu.be/A8TtOIMaKKA?si=ddLP4yNQXmxY7yeU
We all have to make choices in life but the most important choice you will make is where will I spend eternity? Joshua 24:14-18, He told them to choose to serve their idols or choose to serve God. Joshua said, "as for me and my house we will serve the Lord." God loves a you and you are important to Him. The best choice you can make is asking Jesus to forgive you of your sins, ask Him into your heart and believe He arose from the dead. God is real and Jesus is alive!
God will never leave you alone on this journey through life. This journey is about walking daily with the One who made us. Live life with a purpose for God and get close to Him like Enoch did. He a man who walked with God. Begin your life with God and end your life with God. As you submit yourself to God, He illuminates our path to see which way to go. Psalm 119:105 Isaiah 58:11, The Lord will guide you always; He will satisfy your needs in a sun scorched land and will strengthen your frame.
This is Bible Story Time with Ms. Dana and K.J. We are telling the boys and girls a story about Jesus and how much He loves them! Matthew 19:13

Come and worship with us, hear the Word of God and pray.
We enjoy seeing lives transformed by the Word and power of God. We offer the truth of the Word of God and His presence in every service.
We are at the Veteran's Home the 3rd and 4th Sunday each month.
Jesus, I ask You to forgive me of my sins. I want You to come and live in my heart. You are my Lord and Savior. I believe You died for my sins and arose from the dead and with my mouth I confess You as my Savior.
Thank You for saving me, amen!
Romans 10:9-10, that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
