A tribute to those who lost their lives and those who sacrificed to save lives on 9/11/2001.
Psalm 91:1 tells us to abide under the shadow of the Almighty. God's shadow is a place of protection. It is a place of refuge. When you are under God's shadow, you are close or near to Him. God's shadow can also be a place to rest and gain strength. When you draw near to God, He will also draw near to you. (James 4:8) Abiding under God's shadow is a great place to be. www.sosministries.life
Isaiah 40:8, The grass withers, the flower fades, But the word of our God stands forever.” God's word is not capable of changing. It is the everlasting Word of God. Truth never changes! Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). John 8:31 tells us to continue in the Word of God and we will be His disciples. Keep moving forward with Jesus every day of your life!
John 17:17, Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth. John 17 is a prayer Jesus prayed over His disciples but it also speaks to us today!. His word is truth and we take that truth to the world. Jesus left heaven to come to earth to die for our sins. What a sacrifice! He didn't have to do it, He willingly died for us! Verse 13 in John 17 tells us, He wants His joy to be fulfilled in us. Become a child of the Most High God and be a servant like Jesus! www.sosministries.life
When life starts spinning faster that you can stand it is time to stop and commune with the Lord. Jesus gained strength through communion with His heavenly Father. Building our relationship with the Lord and talking with Him is one of the most important things we can do. Receiving the elements of communion is another way to reflect, honor and fellowship with Jesus. It puts us back in alignment with God!
Life is short! James 4:14 tells us it is a vapor. Here for a little while then gone. Urgency means immediate action or an awareness of time. The enemy tells us we can change later but there is no guarantee for later. Every day of delay is a step in the wrong direction. When God is calling you into a relationship with Him go ahead and answer, "Yes, Lord, I will follow You." www.briananddanamoomey.com
Life is short and we don't have time to waste. God is calling you into a relationship with Him right now not in the future! Going forward with God requires you to let go and don't look back to the past! God is calling you! Don't delay or wait for a better moment. The moment is NOW! The breakthrough is NOW! Step into the life God is calling you to live, today! www.sosministries.life or briananddanamoomey.com
Jeremiah 13:23 ask the question can a leopard change its spots. Jeremiah was a prophet of God to Israel. He was speaking to them about their pride, rebellion and lack of trust in God. He was trying to get Israel to turn back to God but they were being stubborn. A leopard cannot change its spots but we can change and make adjustments in our life by the grace of God. Don't trust in your own falsehood. Trust in His Truth!
God is the God of the impossible! A leopard cannot change his spots but we can change by the power of God. 2 Corinthians 5:17, Anyone who belongs to Christ is a new person. The past is forgotten, and everything is new. God changes us on the inside! The blood of Jesus cleanses us and makes us whole again! Accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior and become a brand new person in Him! @sosministries-777 www.briananddanamoomey.com
God is faithful. He never changes! 2 Timothy 2:13, If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself. Faith says I trust in God. Believe, walk, speak and live in Jesus because He is faithful and true. You can trust Him! Follow His direction and plan for your life. Lamentations 3:22-23, Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. 23 They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.
We are to remain in a constant ready state for the return of Jesus. He promises us in His word that He will return for us! Jesus taught us through the parable of the ten virgins to make sure we are ready for His return. The bridegroom is Jesus. The 10 virgins represent believers of Jesus. The lamp is our faith or belief in Jesus. The oil is the Holy Spirit and our relationship with God. Will be choose to be wise or foolish? www.briananddanamoomey.com
We are the ones who are to be prepared for the return of Jesus. We are each responsible to ready ourselves for His return. Stay connected to the One who loves you. Build a personal relationship with Jesus. Allow the Holy Spirit to work in your life. According to the parable of the 10 virgins in Matthew 25, five were wise and ready and five were not ready and foolish. Serve the King of Kings and be ready! Jesus is coming!
Psalms 105:8, He remembers His covenant forever, The word which He commanded, for a thousand generations. God is always faithful to us. Are we faithful to Him? 2 Corinthians 1:20, For all of God’s promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding “Yes!” And through Christ, our “Amen” (which means “Yes”) ascends to God for his glory. Walk a little closer to Him. God is all about doing good for each of us!
Revelation 22:13, I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. You can trust God because He has everything mapped out from beginning to end! Don't map out your own way but trust in Him and the plan He has for your life. Hebrews 12:2 tells us to look to Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. He is the beginning and the end! Trust Him!
